WORKSHOP:       Let's capture the building that has charm; the building that moves you with its sheer simplicity or elaborate facade from a bygone era; the building that we are drawn to or remember fondly from our past.  Now is your chance to hook it!  This course will explore all aspects of hooking a building in a realistic or primitive vein.  Focus will be given to details of structure, depth, light and shadow, and ornamental design.  Your pattern may be taken from a photograph, drawing or sketch.  Commercial patterns may also be used.Attention will also center around the elements of a landscape, balance of colour and the use of all materials to achieve the desired effect.  Join me for a fun and rewarding three days as we construct with wool your favourite 'building within a landscape'.
