The fee for the hook-ins is $20.00 per person which includes morning snacks, tea, coffee and an awesome lunch!


June 9th - Knitters Day (knitters, crocheters and other yarn crafts) Lucy Richard of the Wooly Mason Jar Dyeing System will be here to demonstrate dyeing yarn in the microwave  ** An additional fee of $15 will be charged if you wish to attend Lucy's class.  Regular fee of $20 applies if not attending class but are coming for the day.


June 23rd - Hook-in/Fibre Art Day - open to all fibre artists: rug hookers, knitters, needle workers, spinners, quilters, etc.


August 30th - Stitch-in Day (embroiderers, needlepointers, cross-stitchers, etc) presented by the Alderney Needle Arts Guild


September 29th - Hook-in/Fibre Art Day - open to all fibre artists: rug hookers, knitters, needle workers, spinners, quilters, etc.

As of April 20th the September 29th Hook-in is full - any registrations received after this date will be added to a waiting list only.


 PLEASE NOTE:  Photos should not be taken in the museum galleries during the hook-in. 

Although the Market Place will be open at 9:30 on Hook-In days to allow for registration before entering the Museum area, the hook-in is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  If you have any special dietary needs please let us know so that we can try to accommodate you; we always have gluten-free items for our morning tea/coffee and with the luncheon, as well as fresh fruit and veggies.  


If you are unable to attend the hook-in that you have pre-registered for, please let us know beforehand as knowing the number of participants is important to our food preparation.  If you are cancelling on the day of the event, please phone the museum at 858-3060 as we are unable to check our email while at the museum.  Please be mindful of wearing strong perfumes and body lotions as many people are sensitive to them.
