TEACHER
Kevin LeMoine , Advanced Oxford Certified Instructor lives in Shemogue, New Brunswick. After many forays in the Fiber Arts, including Punch Needle Embroidery, Cross Stitch, Needlepoint and Latch Hook, Kevin was introduced to Traditional Rug Hooking by his mother. Kevin has evolved into Punch Needle Rug Hooking where he has found great peace and relaxation in using the Amy Oxford Punch Needle. WORKSHOP:
Limited to 14 persons. Jump-start your Fall projects, create a dimensional Pumpkin cushion or mat using the Oxford Punch Needle and 100% wool, Briggs & Little, 2 ply yarn “Heritage”.
Day 1 – we will cause a gradual elevation to your large pumpkin sections using all 5 sizes of the Fine Oxford Punch Needles. You will also use 5 values of Hand Dyed Orange yarn to enhance the sculpting appearance of your pumpkin.
Day 2 – Hand sculpting the small pumpkin section using the #8 Fine Oxford Punch and your own very sharp scissors.
Finished project measures 12”x12” and is on a 24”x24” piece of Monk’s Cloth.
Gripper Frames and Oxford Punch Needles in Fine sizes #08, #09, #10, #13 and #14 will be available to use during the class with the option to purchase after class.
COST:
Total registration fee is $ 160.00. Includes “KIT” and registration fee. Deposit of $80.00 is required to register.
