TEACHER:
Joyce Boudreau is a retired teacher after 33 years of teaching in Halifax. She is a knitter, hand quilter, embroiderer and
enjoys various forms of the needle arts of which wool applique is one.
WORKSHOP:
Class is limited to 10 persons. Introduction to wool applique with at least 4 basic stitches along with some advanced stitches will be taught. Oversized flowers, a sun, grass, house and sheep will be precut and ready to be stitched and the colours will be fun and light. The finished piece (9” x 11” square) can be mounted on a 8” x 10” canvas. You will also learn to make ‘Dorset Buttons” with all materials provided. Time permitted you will also learn to make the Yorkshire button.

KIT:
The “KIT” will include backing, pattern and 100% wool pieces cut ready to sew - please state which kit you prefer, the Primitive or the Non-Primitive Kit. The Kit is from “All About Ewe Wool Shop”. Needles and Valdani threads are included. There will be enough space, wool pieces, threads and embellishments for personal creativity to shine.
COST:
Total registration fee - $95.00. Includes complete KIT and registration fee.
A deposit of $50.00 is required to register.

Coffee and tea will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, snacks, cutlery and mug.
Please do not bring anything with nuts due to severe allergy concerns.
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS:
Deposit of $50.00 refundable prior to May 1, 2024. No refunds after May 1, 2024.
