Today (20190925) we had a very special visitor to HRMNA, Judy Carter from Pennsylvania, USA. Judy is a Master Artisan with the PA Guild of Craftsmen and author of "Hooking Animals". Visit her website at: http://www.jcrugs.com/

She is shown here with Founding Chair Suzanne Conrod and Director Sherry Chandler as they present her with a beautiful rug from Brigitte Webb. Brigitte is the 2019 International Rug Hooking Artist of the Year at HRMNA.

Charles van Duren and members of the Economy Rug Hookers, Economy, NS, Mary Jane McGregor, Polly Suttis and Gloria Shields are show here with Founding Director Suzanne Conrod and Director Sherry Chandler.

Charles was presented with a plaque to honor his wife Judith who was a dedicated fibre artist and a supporter of the Museum. We thank him for his kind donation in memory of Judith.

Gloria Shields is holding the rug which had been started by Judith and was completed by Gloria.
