The "2017 Delecto Project" is being organized by Director at Large Erin McKenna.

Ganong Brothers, of St. Stephen, N.B. is an iconic New Brunswick business, famous for it chocolates.  2017 will be the 100th Anniversary of Ganong's famous "Delecto" chocolates.  To commemorate this, she is organizing an exhibit of hooked rugs,  celebrating the art and romance of a Ganong box of chocolates.

All mats hooked for this exhibit will become the property of the Hooked Rug Museum of North America. This art is copyrighted and belongs to Ganongs/Ganong Brothers of St. Stephen , N.B. Canada and they are graciously allowing us to use it for this exhibit.

An interesting fact is that Ganong Bros. chose "Evangline" as the symbol of purity and goodness for their very early chocolate boxes.  She would encourage everyone to visit the Ganong web site to get a "taste" of what this company is all about.
