LOCATION:     Hooked Rug Museum of North America , 9849 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Hwy 3, Queensland, NS

TEACHER:       Doug Rankin

                       Doug is a Certified McGown Teacher who has taught workshops in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Ontario.                             Doug and his wife Anne, own and operate the Rug Hooking Studio “Highland Heart Hookery” located in their home in Clayton Park,                             Halifax where he teaches monthly rug hooking classes to beginners and experienced rug hookers.

PAYMENT:      Total registration fee for 3 full days - $150.00.  Includes class fee, coffee, tea.

                        Deposit of $50.00 is payable with registration and the balance of $100.00 is due by June 1st

                      See below for pattern and wool.  Cost is separate and payable directly to Doug.

Please bring your own lunch, snacks, cutlery and mug.  Please do not bring anything with nuts due to severe allergy concerns.

REGISTRATION: Register soon as class is limited to 10-15 people (depending on COVID restrictions)

                             Confirmation of registration upon receipt of both registration form and payment.

CANCELLATION/REFUNDS:  Registration deposit of $50.00 or full payment is refundable prior to June 1^st.

                                              The $50.00 deposit is non-refundable after June 1^st.

CLASS:                You will learn how to shade flowers (Rose; Iris; Poppy) using a six value swatch with a # 6 cut.

                           Two six value swatches should complete one flower.  

PATTERNS:         Choose one of the following:  Rose; Iris or Poppy

                           The pattern is round about the size of a chair pad.  If you want a different pattern such as two or more flowers or a mix of flowers,                             contact Doug @ Highland Heart Hookery
